Artist & Game Designer
My concepts come from my own life experiences. I grew up in urban spaces, but my parents would often take me back to rural areas near the mountains — that’s where I first encountered the idea of natural philosophy. Over time, I developed an interest in post-humanism and non-human-centered narratives. The root of my inspiration comes from seeing differences between people — from urban to rural, and later, from China to the U.S. I moved to the U.S. when I was sixteen, and there I began to see people as who they truly are, instead of what the internet labels them to be. The influence of environment in shaping people’s bias can be so strong. My wish is to create something that goes beyond the barriers of language and culture. That’s what my desire in creating has always been about.
